Reading elsewhere -mainlanddiscoveries

Regular readers, who are missing blog posts here, may wish to read a set of four blog posts on another of my blogs: http://www.mainlanddiscoveries.wordpress.com.

The first post has been released today and the next three will appear at the rate of one a day until the end of four days. The topic surrounds my visit to the Mt Cootha Botanical Garden in Brisbane, Queensland – no surprise when you discover one of the posts covers their Kitchen Garden.

Despite all the rampant development in Brisbane, having grown up not far from Mt Cootha, I am still in love with the place. The plants, the air and the light especially sparks something magical for me. The old Botanial Gardens by the river always seemed to me as a child, forlorn and constrained. Uplifting to see new ways of enjoying plants.
