Out west to Lake Pedder and beyond

On Saturday I travelled to the area around Lake Pedder and Strathgordon before settling into the comfortable Pedder Wilderness Lodge, then returning today (on Monday). Three years ago I undertook another journey to this remote part of Tasmania – not difficult to access because it is possible to drive there from Hobart. Over the next few days I will write up my recent experience for the blog but, in the meantime, I thought you might be interested to read (or reread) the many blog posts that were previously published.

If you are interested, below is a selection of the blog posts I wrote after my visit in September 2017.  You can see the specific topic at the end of each web address. If you want to read all then search at December 2017 and January 2018 on http://www.tasmaniandiscoveries.com.

Also note, on the home-page of the blog (www.tasmaniandiscoveries.com), the header is my photo of the Western Arthurs with snow on top – from that visit. Majestic.
