Thanks John for alerting me to this ABC news website and story about the exoticism of our Tasmanian forest fungi. It is one of the values of having a national broadcaster and news service that, despite political interference in terms of its budgets (and perhaps more), services Australia with its research and independence.

I am in awe of the ‘ghost’ mushroom and hope one day to see one in the wild.
