Floral treasures

The lusciousness of healthy colourful flowers never fails to make my heart flutter happily.

When C sent me an email adorned with photos from her garden I was delighted.  I can identify most of the flowers, some are familiar but I don’t know their names and a few – well, I don’t know what they are except that they are a joy to behold.

In order of presentation the plants are: Hellebore, Azalea, Euphorbia, white Jonquil, yellow Jonquil and Calendula.

I also grow the following unnamed plants.

Other plants I know by sight but cannot identify are;

Collectively these flowering plants, just a small selection from C’s garden, brighten the end of winter and are a reminder of the extraordinary diversity of plants that we can grow.
