Recently I learnt that the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens (RTBG) has its own Facebook site at rtbg_tasmania here.
The contents of the site were pleasantly surprising. The staff have uploaded information and explanatory videos covering a multitude of RTBG plant topics. These experts are covering many topics from succulents to begonias to banksias and much much more. A terrific idea.
This site will keep us all in touch with non-plant related changes such as the fact that the café re-opened on the 29th May. So if you are roaming the gardens you can grab a refreshment to sustain you.
