As my current stories around Tasmania wind down for a while, I feel sure some readers would love to see more photographs and read more stories from other wonderful parts of Tasmania. I have two other blogsites which might interest you.
www.touchingthetarkine.wordpress.com
If interested, I recommend you go to the front screen of each blog and, on the right hand side, add in your email address so that every time I add a new story you receive it that day automatically.
While the ‘walkingthederwent’ site is quiet at the moment (but I will return to it), the ‘touchingthetarkine’ site is about to receive over a month’s new postings starting tomorrow. So be ready. I took the photo above at the northern end of Marrawah Beach in north west Tasmania. The rock ahead is part of Mt Cameron West.
The photo above shows some of the tall straight trees in the Dismal Swamp/Tasmanian Forest Adventures precinct.
I loved the drama of these ancient well-worn rocks and tufted grasses on the coast at wind swept West Point, north west Tasmania.
Tasmania is extraordinarily beautiful at every turn, so if you are unable to travel then enjoy using my blogs as a virtual holiday.
