McPartlan Pass Canal

Once Lake Pedder was  flooded and the water had filled all the crevices of the landscape that it could reach, its water needed to be redirected northwards into Lake Gordon for use in generating electricity via the Lake Gordon Power Station.

On the Gordon River Road, between Strathgordon and Scotts Peak Road, a viewing platform allows travellers to look down onto the canal.   20170930_084622.jpg
